On Eagles’ Wings – October Newsletter
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you,
so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that
you are my disciples, if you love one another.
Tell your family, friends, and neighbors about this free event on Monday, November 21, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Preschool-age children will have the opportunity to participate in a full morning of kindergarten activities, including exploring the kindergarten classroom, going through the lunch line to get their snack, singing and playing instruments with the music specialist, and participating in a large muscle activity. Parents will meet with teachers to talk about kindergarten readiness and what to expect in a kindergarten class. For more information, or to register, please email Sue at firstname.lastname@example.org.
November 21, 12:00-6:00pm
Bully Prevention Month
October is national Bully Prevention Month. MCS students participate in activities and discussions designed to raise awareness of bullying and how to prevent it. Jesus calls us to love one another as he has loved us. As his disciples, we are called to show his love by being kind to each and every student in our school and by making sure that everyone in our school family feels loved and accepted.
Your family is invited to join us on October 29 from 5-7 p.m. for the annual Hallelujah Festival at First Lutheran Church. This fall event is completely fun and completely free! We will have dinner, a DJ, bounce houses, and amazing prizes! Come and play some of our fun fall games. The doors will open promptly at 5 p.m. Join us for this family-friendly event. Everyone is welcome! Children (and adults!) are invited to wear non-violent costumes.
Welcome to the Student Info page on the newly redesigned website. Download the full calendar and lunch calendar right to your own personal calendar. Check out magnusonschool.org/students
