On Eagles’ Wings – May Newsletter
Now may the Lord of Peace himself give you peace
at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
2 Thessalonians 3:16
Being part of the Magnuson family for the past thirteen years has truly been a privilege for me. Watching your children grow in so many ways has been a blessing I will never forget. Thank you for sharing them with me! Magnuson Christian School will always have a very special place in my heart. God bless you!
We are so proud of all the MCS students! At the annual Magnuson Showcase, they displayed their skills through songs, musical instruments, and STEM challenge projects they created. What a great way to use their God-given gifts and talents!
Magnuson Christian School is blessed with the BEST volunteers! Over 100 people serve in some type of volunteer position every year! We have study buddies, school board members, chaperones, Bake Sale bakers/sellers, Gala volunteers, marketing team members, Chapel leaders, musicians, drivers, book fair coordinators, color dash volunteers, room parents, MPTP leaders/volunteers, and supportive families and friends, to name a few. We are so grateful for all of you. You are what make MCS a warm, caring place for everyone. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you for the door decorations, breakfast treats, school supplies, BBQ lunch, gift bags, cards, and kind words of gratitude from parents and students. We feel very appreciated and loved!
There will be a uniform exchange Friday, June 2, through Wednesday, June 7. Donated uniforms will be available and displayed on tables in the school hallway. You may donate gently used uniforms for this exchange. If you have any questions, please contact Dawn Helvig at firstname.lastname@example.org. On Saturday, June 3, the building will be open at 9:00am, but will be locked as soon as the color dash begins at 10:00.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found items will also be displayed June 2-7. Items not claimed by June 7 will be donated to Goodwill.
On Friday, May 26, Magnuson students pulled hard, ran fast, tossed water balloons, kicked soccer balls, practiced teamwork in relays, hula hooped, and more. Thank you Mr. Carroll for organizing a great day. Thank you parents for helping students have a wonderful time!
If you have not already done so, PLEASE complete the enrollment process for your students for the 2017-2018 school year and invite your friends!
You won’t want to miss this year’s Color Dash on Saturday, June 3! There will be food trucks, music, and activities for everyone. This will also serve as our end-of-the-year party, so every family is encouraged to come and join the fun, even if you are not planning on running.
