Ways to Give
Gifts for Growth Gala
Join us Saturday, April 1, 2017 for the Annual Gifts for Growth Gala. The evening’s theme “New Life” will showcase Magnuson’s students and their talents while guests enjoy dinner, entertainment, games, and silent and live auctions. The Gifts for Growth Gala is Magnuson’s largest fundraiser and raises funds for enhancements to our school while keeping tuition rates affordable. Click here for more information.
Tuition Bucks, SCRIPS
Want tuition bucks? Get SCRIPS! Here’s how it works: Scrip Fundraising is a no-selling program that allows families to raise money. Scrip is just another way to pay for everyday purchases using gift cards in place of cash, checks and credit cards. Simply purchase gift cards from Magnuson at face value and the coordinator will order these at a reduced price. The difference is an instant rebate. The rate varies from 2%-20% and the difference or rebate amount is split between the family’s tuition account or designated classroom or fund and the Magnuson School. The gift certificate or gift card (SCRIP) is then used like cash at the retailer, where it’s worth face value. It is just shopping a little differently. Amazon Smile
AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets you enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as you do on Amazon.com. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to MCS. Go to smile.amazon.com, log in with your Amazon.com information and select “NI Magnuson Christian School” from the list of charities.
Thrivent Choice
This charitable grant program encourages members of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans to choose where their Choice Dollars are directed.
Magnuson Color Dash
Save the Date: June 3, 2017! Strap on your running shoes, put on a tutu or some crazy hair and come and run or walk the 5k Magnuson Color Dash or ½ mile Fun Run! After the run, stay for the After Blast Party with food trucks, bounce houses, Prizes and a DJ.Click here to register online.

Box Tops for Education
We collect General Mills box tops throughout the year and submit them for cash. Look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products like Cheerios®, Hamburger Helper® and Kleenex. Simply clip and send them to school – each one is worth 10¢.
